The collaborative relationship between the GVF Maritime SatCom Forum (GVF/MSF) and Intermanager .
began in early 2011. In September 2011 the InterManager Secretary General addressed a meeting of the GVF/MSF in London, at which time, arrangements were confirmed for a further and deeper collaboration with the already well-established GVF-EMP Broadband Maritime series of conferences, which are held twice-annually, once in Singapore (February) and once in London (June).

The Shipping KPI Project is an industry-wide initiative which proposes a global shipping industry standard .
for defining, measuring and reporting information on operational performance in order to boost performance improvements internally in companies engaged in ship operation activities and provide an efficient communication platform about ship operation performance information to internal and external stakeholders through increased transparency.

Broadband Maritime Offshore & Oceanic 2012: Information & Communications Networking Mobility South East Asia .
is the 6th in a series of events organised by GVF and EMP. The technology of communications and the exchange of information has undergone an accelerated development in recent years. With the availability of advanced communications at sea the maritime communications environment is progressing from a mainly narrowband arena into the broadband age.
